Temminckii Fairy Wrasse

Temminckii Fairy Wrasse is a vibrant, energetic addition to established reef and fish-only aquariums. With striking coloration ranging from orange-red to purple hues and an active, engaging personality, this wrasse brings constant movement and visual interest to your tank.

A hardy species suited to intermediate aquarists, the Temminckii thrives in well-established systems with plenty of rockwork and live rock for hunting small crustaceans and zooplankton. Provide a varied diet of quality frozen foods, mysis shrimp, and specialized wrasse pellets to maintain peak coloration and health.

Best housed in tanks 75 gallons or larger with peaceful to moderately aggressive tankmates. Males display more intense colors than females, making them a popular choice for display-focused aquarists. May show aggression toward smaller wrasses or similar-sized fish, so introduce carefully and monitor behavior during acclimation.

Sourced from sustainable suppliers and quarantined before shipping. Acclimate slowly using drip-acclimation methods to ensure a smooth transition to your aquarium environment.
