Dry Stock Return/Exchange Policy

We have a 14-day return/exchange policy less 10% restocking fee, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return/exchange, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Otherwise it will be refused. There is a 10% restocking fee that will be deducted from the store credit or exchange.

To start a return, you can contact see us in store by seeing an authorized manager or e-mail us at Info@cbaquatics.ca. Please note that returns will need to be brought in store.

If your return is accepted, we’ll provide you with a choice of store credit or exchange. Items brought back to us the fall under the Exceptions / non-returnable item category will not be accepted. 

Livestock Return Policy

All livestock purchases are Final Sale. Due to the nature of live animals and factors beyond our control once livestock leaves our facility, we cannot accept returns or offer warranties on any livestock products. This includes but is not limited to fish, invertebrates, corals, and other aquatic life.

The health and condition of livestock can be affected by numerous variables during and after transport, including shipping conditions, acclimation procedures, water parameters, and care practices. Once livestock has left our possession, we cannot guarantee its continued health or survival.

Damages and issues


Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like live goods (such as corals, inverts, fish, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and On Sale or Discounted goods (even products with promotions involved). We also do not accept returns for shipped or delivered items. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on ANY sale items or ANY gift cards.


Exchanges


The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, a purchase for the new item will offset the returned cost less 10% restocking fee. 


Refunds 

 

If approved, you’ll be automatically provided with a Store Credit on your original payment method less 10% restocking fee immediately in store, or within 10 business days if not in store. Please remember it can take some time for us to process and post the credit to your account. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at info@cbaquatics.ca.


Rehoming

Rehoming your fish to us cost us time and resources. We will only be review rehoming on a case by case basis. We appreciate the donations and appreciate our local breeders. We do not take in for trades or credit. However on the rare occasion where some value is set onto livestock for trade in, CREDIT will only be supplied towards a new livestock purchases. Please understand we have no obligation to take in anything.
