Strawberry Conch Conomurex luhuanus

The Strawberry Conch is a striking invertebrate prized for its vibrant coloration and active foraging behavior. This species thrives in established saltwater systems with stable parameters: maintain pH between 8.1–8.3, temperature of 72–78°F, and salinity at 1.023–1.025 (specific gravity). A sandy substrate is essential, as these conchs spend considerable time grazing and burrowing. They're excellent detritivores, consuming algae, uneaten food, and organic debris. Provide adequate space and moderate water flow. Hardy and low-maintenance once acclimated, they make a valuable addition to reef and FOWLR aquariums alike.
