Rock Kribensis Cichlid A striking West African dwarf cichlid prized for its vibrant coloration and engaging personality. Males display brilliant red and yellow hues, while females showcase deeper reds with distinctive black markings. These territorial fish thrive in planted tanks with caves and driftwood, establishing defined territories without excessive aggression. Hardy and adaptable, they reach 2-3 inches and prefer slightly acidic to neutral water with moderate flow. Ideal for intermediate aquarists seeking a colorful, behaviorally interesting addition to community or species-specific setups.

These smaller cichlids native to lake Tangyanika are a great addition to a rift lake biotope, or with their docile temperament they can even be added to the community aquarium with caution. With their stunning colours they will be the jewel of your tank! They have a relatively small adult size  and can be safely kept in a tank as little as 20 gallons.
