Razor (Sawtail) Tang

A striking addition to established saltwater aquariums, the Razor Sawtail Tang commands attention with its distinctive compressed body and razor-sharp venomous spine along its tail. This species thrives in larger systems with ample swimming space and strong water flow, grazing on algae throughout the day to maintain optimal health. Best suited for experienced aquarists, the Sawtail Tang requires stable water parameters, a varied diet of marine vegetation and quality prepared foods, and careful tank mates to avoid aggression. Provide plenty of hiding spots and live rock to support its natural browsing behavior. A premium specimen for those prepared to meet its specialized care requirements.
