Neon Wrasse

The Neon Wrasse has distinct physical differences between juvenile and adult stages. Juveniles have a predominantly blue body with yellow fins and a black stripe bordered by vivid blue and yellow lines. In contrast, adults have a green body with a black spot on the dorsal fin and a blue stripe running along their midsection. Their tail fin is yellow with blue and black stripes, and males also develop an elongated dorsal fin.

As for being reef safe, Neon Wrasse are generally considered reef safe, as they do not typically bother invertebrates or harm coral. However, they may eat small crustaceans, such as shrimp, so they may not be a good fit for reef tanks with these types of animals. It is essential to research any fish before adding them to a reef aquarium to ensure they will not pose any threats to the inhabitants. Colours may vary.
