Monosolenium 'Pellia moss' portion cup

Monosolenium tenerum, commonly known as Pellia moss, is a delicate liverwort prized for its feathery, fan-shaped fronds. This portion cup contains a ready-to-plant clump suitable for freshwater aquascapes, moss walls, and planted tanks.

Pellia moss thrives in moderate to high light and benefits from gentle water flow. It attaches naturally to rocks and driftwood via rhizoids, creating lush, naturalistic coverage over time. Ideal water parameters range from 6.0–7.5 pH and 68–82°F.

Use this moss to soften hardscaping, create depth in mid-ground plantings, or establish a living backdrop. Its slow growth makes it low-maintenance once established, and it provides shelter for shrimp and fry. Plant directly or secure with cotton thread until attachment occurs.
