Peppermint Shrimp Lysmata Wurdemmani

Peppermint shrimp are hardy, reef-safe cleaners prized for their appetite for nuisance anemones, particularly Aiptasia. These striking white and red striped crustaceans reach 2 inches and thrive in established tanks with moderate flow and adequate hiding spaces. They're peaceful community members that won't harm corals or fish, though they may occasionally scavenge for food. Best kept singly or in pairs, they prefer temperatures between 72–78°F and benefit from a varied diet of quality pellets and frozen foods. An excellent addition to any reef system seeking natural pest control.
