Scolymia corals are generally considered easy to care for in an established reef tank, provided specific conditions are met. 

• Lighting: They prefer low to moderate lighting (around 100-150 PAR). Too much light can be damaging.
• Water Flow: Low water flow is recommended.
• Placement: They are typically best placed on the sandbed or a secure low ledge, where they have room to expand their fleshy body without touching other corals or falling over.
• Feeding: Feeding is important for their health and growth. They exhibit a dramatic feeding response, extending tentacles to accept small meaty foods like Polyp Lab ReefRoids or Benepets when they sense food in the water.
• Water Parameters: Stable water chemistry is essential, including parameters like dKH 8-12, pH 8.1-8.4, and temperature 72-78°F.
