Seachem Prime

Prime converts ammonia, nitrite and nitrate into a less-toxic forms that are more efficiently remove by the tank™s biofilter. Prime may be used during tank cycling to help alleviate ammonia/nitrite toxicity.

It will also detoxify some heavy metals found in the water.

Prime is non-acidic and will not impact pH.

This is a great product that every Jellyfish Keeper should have on hand. The use of Prime should be reserved for emergency situations where ammonia is elevated and new water is not immediately available for a water change. The Prime will neutralize ammonia while new water is mixed.

Note: Prime can interfere with many test kit results. As SeaChem MultiTest, test kits test for both Free Ammonia and Total Ammonia, they work well while Prime is being dosed to a JellyFish aquarium.

• • Dose 1ml per 2 gallons of aquarium water.
  • Add prime to the filter area of the aquarium
  • Repeat every 48 hours (as long as needed)

Prime is very concentrated.

Sulfur odor is normal.
