Orange Back Fairy Wrasse males are vibrant reef inhabitants prized for their striking coloration and active, engaging behavior. These wrasses display brilliant orange backs contrasting with blue and yellow markings, making them a focal point in any established reef aquarium. Hardy and relatively peaceful, they thrive in systems with plenty of live rock for foraging and hiding. Males are territorial during breeding but generally compatible with other reef fish. Provide a minimum 75-gallon tank with strong water flow, stable parameters (72–78°F, pH 8.1–8.3), and a varied diet of small crustaceans and quality flake foods. Their constant movement and natural hunting behavior add dynamic interest to your display while supporting a healthy reef ecosystem.
