False Rummy Nose Tetra (Petitella georgiae)

False Rummy Nose Tetras are striking schooling fish prized for their bold red facial markings and active, peaceful temperament. Native to South American blackwater streams, these elegant tetras thrive in planted tanks with soft, slightly acidic water and moderate flow. They're best kept in groups of 6 or more, where they'll display natural schooling behaviour and vibrant colouration. Hardy and compatible with other community fish, they make an excellent addition to established aquariums seeking movement and visual interest.
