Orange Slipper Lobster (Scyllarides/Thenus sp.)

Orange Slipper Lobsters are vibrant, moderately aggressive bottom dwellers prized for their striking coloration and unique flattened body shape. These nocturnal invertebrates thrive in established tanks with plenty of rockwork, caves, and hiding spaces. They're opportunistic hunters and may predate on small fish, shrimp, and other crustaceans. Feed quality sinking pellets, frozen foods, and occasional live prey. Requires strong water flow and excellent filtration. Best kept singly or with larger, robust tank mates. Minimum 75-gallon aquarium recommended. Hardy once acclimated; moderately challenging for intermediate aquarists.
