Proaquatix Captive Bred Royal Gramma Basslet - Gramma loret

Description:
A brightly colored basslet where the front half of the fish is bright purple, very similar to an orchid dottyback, going down the body about halfway down the color turns to a vibrant bright yellow. A very large bicolored dorsal fine with a large black dot at the tip of the fin by the head. A black line also runs from the top lip diagonally up through the eye.

Behavior:
Known to be peaceful, this species is one of the least aggressive species in the genus. Usually peaceful towards tankmates of similar temperament and size, except they can be territorial towards their own kind.

Compatibility:
Usually ignores corals and most invertebrates. They may attack small shrimps but are useful to curb the proliferation of bristle worms.

Food:
Proaquatix specimens have been weaned to take aquarium pellets and flakes. Freshly frozen invertebrates such as ocean plankton, Mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and chopped squid will be readily accepted.
