All rocks and substrates are completely safe for use in any aquarium and will have minimal effect on water chemistry. Glitter Rocks are 100% natural, sustainably sourced and non-toxic. Aqua Natural Rose Glitter Rocks are a unique and rare mica rich quartz. The mica has natural light reflecting facets which give this rock a beautiful sparkle and glimmer when both dry and wet. This kit is an assortment of pieces handpicked by our master designers. Each piece is guaranteed to be unique and a natural sculpture of nature. The bag contains a mixed pack of 3-inch to 7-inch pieces -- typically there are 3 to 5 single rocks however, as a natural product, this may vary. Directions: Care Rinse thoroughly before use to remove any debris or dust from shipping. Do not use any chemical products or soaps as these may contaminate the aquarium. Remove and clean periodically to maintain a healthy aquarium. Caution: Do not boil the rocks before use or as part of the cleaning process as this may cause the rock to split. When placing in the aquarium make sure you add them slowly and gently. Note: Mica rich quartz has a naturally flaky/scaly surface which may shed a few particles during transport and handling. This is normal and of no concern; simply rinse and use.
