Distinguished by its streamlined body, prominent forehead, and distinctive tail streamers that develop with maturity, this active swimmer requires substantial open water for grazing and exercise. Best suited for aquariums 125 gallons or larger with stable water parameters and moderate to strong flow. Thrives on a varied herbivore diet including nori, spirulina, and quality marine algae. Peaceful temperament makes it compatible with most reef inhabitants, though adequate swimming space and rockwork with algae growth are essential for long-term success.
