The Fluval Sea Mini Protein Skimmer helps to remove organic compounds and other harmful substances from saltwater nano aquariums between 5 and 10 gallons before those substances have time to break down into dangerous waste. This compact protein skimmer utilizes a 32 needle-wheel impeller to increase air-to-water contact ratio, creating the perfect bubble size for maximum protein collection. It also features adjustable flow regulators, which control the amount of air that enters the reaction chamber in order to produce the perfect amount of “skimmate,” as well as an adjustable water-level control valve, which regulates skimming performance. A large reaction chamber mixes air and water together for the purpose of removing organic waste from water molecules.

The Sea Mini sports a modular design, which makes it easy to access and clean each individual piece, including the clear collection cup (which is perfectly visible at all times for monitoring of stored waste). Adjustable hanging bracket and suction cups are included, granting versatility in how you choose to mount the Sea Mini on your aquarium.
